Assignment 4: Be Able to Review Work on Completion of a Brief

My intentions were to create a website which was easily accessible for the familys and kids if ned be, i think i achieved this with easy headers with no sub pages so they could get lost in themselves whilst going through the site, The website was not designed to be a flashy, its purupose was to get  relevant infomation across to the familys. I think after changing the website designing program i have created a better overall product and more accessable than the one i would of created using iWeb, That web designer did not fully allow you to change every part of the template they gave you, i had a blue selection bar at the top which i was unable to change. With Wix.com this was made alot easier with more freedom in the editing besides not being able to use the same text so all the relevant infomation had to be printscreened and then pasted into the template in the posisition i wanted it instead of the normal way using text boxes which made the process a whole lot longer than it should of been. Throughout the desinging of the website all the relevant content was put into folders on my memory stick so that when i wanted to find infomation for a certain section i could just tap the infomation from it instead of having to search through my whole hardrive.

If i were to do the process again i would learn how to use adobe dreamweaver, which is the software that the professionals use to create websites so that i would be working at a professional standard, having planned meets with the client instead of informal ones which i had, i would also do a contractual brief instead of informal, with the informal there is no set targets you go by word of mouth, less organized if i were to have done a contractual everything would of been in place a lot quicker and the final target is clearer.

I liked the policy link, they were displayed on the page well and easy to read & the activity log was laid out well making it clear to the familys/kids when the activitys were.

I like tghe fact you researched the other ervices which the RBWM are part of other than what the inicial site was for. 

I would look at sizing of text & fonts used. i would perhaps change the layout of the homepage at top. I would use bigger text size on the 'RBWM' link.

I would perhaps add further signposting links for families to more services and resources.

The site is easy to negociate and use; great use of photos and excellent infomation matches what was asked, which was to make clear to the familys what the club offered, simple easy and gets the point across.
